Colson Kelly, also known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, has a unique style of rapping. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on 22 April of 1990. He was born into a German and English Scottish family. Both of his parents are missionaries. During his childhood the Bakers traveled extensively together. James Colson Baker was depressed and unemployed while Sonia Alane, his mother had to leave his family when he was just Nine years old. Baker and his dad moved to Denver and lived at the house of his father's Aunt. Others in the community bullied Baker for being poor. In the sixth grade, Baker began to listen to rap. Colson Kelly was born Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989 in Texas. In his music, he is famous for mixing modern hip-hop styles and rock. Prior to joining Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. The Cleveland rapper who delivered lyrics at the pace of a bullet speeding through the air experienced an explosive growth when in 2011, he switched from self-released mixes to reputable labels. It was from there, with all of his releases making it to the top ten charts.
